A few days ago, with the successful completion of the paving and compaction for the final section of the asphalt surface course, the main line pavement of Section HTGJ-2 of the reconstruction and expansion project for the Hami-Tuyugou section of G30 Lianhuo Expressway, undertaken by Xinjiang Road & Bridge Construction Group, has been fully connected. This ensures the official full opening to traffic of the Expressway on July 30.
As a key node of the transportation artery in the core area of the "Belt and Road Initiative" and the expressway project featuring the longest one-time reconstruction and expansion mileage in China, the G30 Lianyungang‑Khorgos Expressway reconstruction and expansion project has upgraded the original two-way four-lane road to eight lanes, with the designed speed raised to 120 km/h. The 4500-Model Counter‑flow monoblock recycling asphalt mixing plant is one of D&G Machinery’s flagship products. Boasting a capacity of 320‑360 tons per hour and equipped with a large‑volume 5.5‑ton mixer, it satisfies both high‑volume production with virgin aggregates and requirements for high RAP addition ratios.
Equipped with D&G Machinery's original patented new-generation "Self-Cleaning" RAP dryer drum, the drum’s manual cleaning cycle can be extended by more than 10 times, with the longest manual cleaning cycle only once per year.
The RCS120A RAP Crushing & Screening Plant adopts the patented special flexible, offset-tooth roller crushing and screening technology. It delivers a "kneading-like" crushing effect on RAP, which largely reduces the over-crushing of coarse particles and the generation of fine materials, effectively preserving the original gradation of RAP. With a fixed and modular design, the equipment features easy installation, small footprint and low noise.
The two plants form a "Golden Combination", building a complete recycling chain covering the whole process from crushing and screening of reclaimed pavement materials to the production of high-quality recycled asphalt mixture.
Field‑Proven Performance: Quality Validated by Hard Data
The G30 Lianyungang‑Khorgos Expressway is a national east-west transportation artery. The RAP addition ratio was steadily controlled at the maximum level under project specifications (the equipment itself supports a maximum addition ratio of over 80 %), and the output of recycled asphalt mixture reached 180,000 tons. The produced mixture features good quality, with all indicators meeting the project design and production requirements, providing stable support for the high-quality completion of the main line pavement. In terms of equipment operation, the overall performance is stable and controllable; the recycling system demonstrated particularly reliable performance far exceeding the industry average. The exhaust gas temperature remained stable within 90-105℃, securing sufficient heating of RAP while effectively curbing energy consumption and environmental risks. Ultimately, the two plants completed all production tasks on schedule with guaranteed quality, winning high recognition from the project owner.
